SimCity does not start - what to do?
- Patch: Start Origin and - if available - install all current patches. If you have just installed the game, the updates will solve numerous problems and bugs.

SimCity: Solving start-up problems
- Folder: Simultaneously press the [Windows] and [E] keys so that Windows Explorer opens. Navigate to the path "C: \ Program Files \ Origin Games \ SimCity" and delete the entire folder "SimCityUserData".
- Compatibility: Find the "SimCity.exe" file and right-click to open the "Properties". Switch to the "Compatibility" tab and activate the "Run as administrator" option. The "Run at 640 x 480 screen resolution" option may also help.
- Installation: If all of this doesn't work, you can completely uninstall SimCity and then set it up again. Reinstalling Origin can also be helpful in some cases.
