Sims 4: Call a fire department or start a fire department career - is that possible?

In "The Sims 4" a fire breaks out one time or another. Many players therefore wish to be able to call the fire brigade. We'll tell you whether this is possible in this practical tip.

Is there a fire department in "The Sims 4"?

Unlike in other parts of the Sims, there is no longer a fire brigade in "The Sims 4". It is not possible to start a career with the fire department, nor to call the fire department.

• As soon as a fire breaks out, your Sims are on their own and should control the fire independently.
• Click on your Sims to extinguish them yourself or on the fire to keep them in check. If a fire cannot be extinguished, death by fire is possible.
• Smoke detectors are also a good investment, as they inform you about the fire in the event of a fire. Sprinkler systems also help extinguish the fire and your Sims in an emergency.
• Any damage to furniture can be replaced with the money from the insurance. After the fire, the money is automatically added to your Sims' household budget.
• If nothing helps anymore, your Sims should get to safety, for example by leaving the house and waiting for the fire to be under control.
