In the game settings, you can determine whether your Sims should live short, medium or long. It is also possible to switch off the aging process completely or to let it run only for the played household. The service life varies depending on the settings. Seniors are of different ages in every selection, so the overall lifespan always varies.
- The short lifespan is at least 34 days. Babies age between 0 and 3 days, children and teenagers after 7 days and young adults and adults after 10 days.
- The mean life span is at least 66 days. Babies age after 0 and 3 days, children and teenagers after 13 days, and young adults and adults after 20 days.
- The long life span is a minimum of 264 days. Babies also age after 0 and 3 days, children and teenagers after 52 days and young adults and adults after 80 days.
