Sims 4 won't start - what to do?
- Before following the tips below, make sure your system meets the Sims 4 system requirements.
- Then check whether your graphics card driver is up to date. You can do this either via Windows Update or via the manufacturer's website. We give you help on driver updates.
- In many cases it helps if you start the game as an administrator. To do this, right-click on the shortcut and select "Run as administrator".
- There may also be a conflict with the firewall or the antivirus. Therefore, briefly deactivate both services.

- Defective user data also cause problems. You can delete them by closing Origin and the game and opening the folder "Documents \ Electronic Arts \". Rename the folder "Sims 4" as you like and then start the game again.
- You can also try repairing the game in Origin. To do this, right-click on the entry in Origin and select "Repair game". Wait for the process to finish. Then try to start Sims 4 again.
