Simyo: No network - you can do that
Simyo offers various affordable tariffs for smartphone users in the e-network. But what to do if there is no network available? In the following practical tip, we will show you how to proceed.
No network with Simyo - It can be because of that
If you have no reception with your cell phone or smartphone, there can be various causes. To check why, do the following:
- To rule out the possibility that your SIM card slot is defective, remove the SIM card and insert it into another cell phone as a test. If no network is available here either, a device defect can be excluded. It is also best to clean the contacts on the SIM card carefully. Contamination can be another reason for faulty network activities.
- Switch off your cell phone or smartphone and restart it. From time to time, software errors can result in the network not being found.
- Check whether the network fault only ever occurs at a certain location or persists even when you change location. If the reception error only occurs in a certain postcode area, this may be due to poor network coverage.
