Receive Sky as a Telekom customer - how it works
Sky has been offered in the Telekom Entertain package since summer 2013. Telekom customers now also receive Bundesliga and Champions League, among others. You can find out how this works and what you can see here.
Stream Sky as a Telekom customer
To book Sky, you need an Entertain connection from Telekom, for example Entertain Comfort or Entertain Premium.
- All you have to do on the telecom side is to book a Sky package.
- You don't need new hardware. You can receive the Sky channels via your media receiver, for example the Media Receiver 303 model. Bundesliga starts at program position 800.
- After booking, it takes approximately 48 hours to enjoy Sky.
Sky Sport at Telekom: You can see that in 2017/2018
Sky and Eurosport have secured the rights to the Bundesliga games. As a Telekom customer, you therefore also benefit from the transmissions:
- You can now book the "Sky Sport Kompakt" package from Telekom.
- All Sky and Bundesliga Bundesliga and Champions League conference calls are included in the sports subscription. The games of the 3rd league will also be broadcast.
- The "Sky Sport Kompakt" package is not only interesting for all football fans. In addition to the football broadcasts, the games of the German Ice Hockey League, the DKB Handball Bundesliga and the Basketball Bundesliga are also broadcast.
- The "Sky Sport Kompakt" package from Telekom costs Entertain subscribers around 10 euros per month. All others can book the sports subscription for around 15 euros.
- Tip: Get all Bundesliga games as a complete package from Sky for only EUR 19.99 / month.
Entertain costs: Football only in combination with other packages
In addition to the costs for your Entertain connection, there are fees for the desired Sky package. The big shortcoming: Bundesliga can only be booked in combination with other packages and not individually.
- The packages "Sky Welt", "Sky Film", "Sky Sport" or "Sky Fußball-Bundesliga" are available. As I said, the latter can only be combined with other packages.
- The cheapest combination is if you combine Sky Welt and Bundesliga. Then you currently get 17.45 euros per month. From the 13th month of the contract, the package costs € 34.90. The contract runs for 24 months. If you want to enjoy football in HD, you have to pay an extra five euros per month.
- If you are not only interested in the Bundesliga, but also want to follow all the Champions League and DFB Cup matches, you have to book Sky Welt, Sky Sport and Sky Bundesliga. The subscription costs 23.45 euros and from the 13th month of the contract 46.90 euros plus five euros for HD.
- Our tip: In order to watch all games in the best quality, a Sky package is worthwhile. So you don't have to buy additional packages from Telekom that you don't want.
