Sky Note 426: You can do that
If your Sky receiver reports note 426, this is due to the introduction of Sky On Demand. We'll show you how to solve the problem.
Sky receiver: Eliminate note 426
In November 2015, Sky Anytime was renamed Sky On Demand. In order for Sky On Demand to work, the receiver must receive an update.
- To do this, take the Sky receiver completely off the power. Wait a few seconds and then plug it back in.
- The receiver should now automatically update the EPG. This process can take up to two hours in some cases.
- Then Sky On Demand should work again. If this is not the case, you can carry out an "Internet connection test" in the menu to check the connection.
Sky Note 426 does not disappear - what to do?
- If the above instructions did not lead to success, completely disconnect the receiver from the power and try again.
- Otherwise, leave the receiver in standby mode overnight. The EPG update should then be carried out at the latest.
- If that doesn't help, there seems to be a bigger problem. In this case you should contact Sky support.
In the next practical tip, we will show you how to reset your Sky receiver.
