Sky Receiver doesn't start - it could be because of it
If the Sky Receiver no longer starts, there can be various reasons. Here's what you can do about it.
You can do this if the Sky Receiver does not start
- First check that all cables from the receiver are correctly connected and connected.
- If a red lamp lights up when the receiver is started, there is a hardware defect. In this case, you should replace the device or take advantage of any warranty claims, as it can often be difficult to find the fault.
- You can try to disconnect the receiver from the mains for about 10 seconds and then switch it on again. This can solve many problems.
- If this did not work, disconnect the receiver from the power supply for 20 seconds and hold down the "Left" button on the receiver during the startup process: This is how the receiver starts with an automatic software update.
- If your receiver still does not start, resetting the receiver may help.
