Sky: Exchange receivers - how it works
If you would like to have your Sky receiver exchanged, you must contact customer service. In this practical tip we explain how you can reach it and in which cases you can have your receiver replaced.
Have Sky replaced the receiver
You can have your Sky hard disk recorder exchanged for a new one in the event of a defect or a product change:
- First, contact Sky customer service and describe your situation.
- If you have the OK from customer service, you have to create a return slip via this link.
- For this you need your Sky customer number and your address details. You can then print out the shipping labels.
- Pack the receiver and all accessories that can be found in the manual in a box. Ideally, you can use the old box of your receiver for this.
- Make sure the package is properly sealed and then stick the tags on the package.
- You can then simply hand it in at the post office. There are no costs for you.
- The new receiver should arrive at your home after a few working days.
