Sky jerky - what to do?
Use our tips below to make Sky work properly again:
- First make sure that all cables are connected correctly and that the connections are properly seated.
- If there is a cable break or a cable is defective, you should replace it as soon as possible.
- Also make sure that you have installed the latest firmware of the Sky receiver. You can check this via the settings.
- You need a smart card to be able to receive the variety of Sky broadcasts. This must be inserted correctly into the slot until it engages.
- Pull the smartcard out of the receiver once and shortly afterwards fully insert it into the appropriate port.
- In many cases it can also help if you disconnect the receiver from the power supply for around 10 seconds and then try again.
