With Sky Ticket you could watch films and series under Linux without problems. This no longer works. Here we explain what has changed and what you need to consider.
Sky Ticket under Linux - this change restricts the user
While you can still comfortably enjoy the booked Sky tickets with Windows and Mac, Linux users currently have to do without the program. A change will partially limit the use.
- With the introduction of the Sky Ticket App, the film and series offer can no longer be easily viewed in the web browser.
- While there is an app for Windows and Mac, a version for Ubuntu is not currently available.
These devices have the app
Since there is currently no app for Ubuntu in prospect, look at the program on another device.
- With game consoles such as Playstation 4 or Xbox One, you can easily watch Sky Ticket on the TV. You can find the Sky Ticket app in both the Playstation and Xbox stores.
- With Chromecast from Google you can use the app on your TV. The only requirement is that your TV has a USB port.
- Sky itself offers a Sky Ticket TV Stick, which, like the Chromecast, can be connected to the TV via USB.
- The app is also available for tablets and smartphones on Android and iOS.
