Sky X: This is how the new Sky offer works
The VoD provider Sky has recently launched a new offer: Sky X. Find out what is behind it here.
Sky X - the new offer from Sky
The competition in the video-on-demand area is fiercely competitive and if you want to survive on the market, you cannot afford to sit back and relax.
- Of course, the VoD provider Sky also knows this and surprised the streaming fans a few days ago with a new offer. However, the offer that bears the simple name Sky X is initially only available in Austria.
- With Sky X you can stream the entire program including free TV. This means you are independent of cable providers or satellite television. But that's not all.
- The new streaming offer from Sky is also cheaper than Sky Ticket. Ultimately, Sky X is to replace Sky Ticket in Austria.
- You can test Sky X for 14 days free of charge. If you then subscribe, you can cancel it monthly at any time.
- You do not need an additional receiver. If required, however, there is the so-called Sky X Streaming Box. Otherwise you have various options to call up the offer, such as via the browser, an app, the PS4 console or on the smart TV.
That includes the streaming offer
With Sky X you can choose from three different packages. In addition to the three special packages, there should also be a variant with the best-known free TV channels. The price for this is not yet known, but should be well under ten euros per month.
- Fiction & Live TV - as the name suggests, series junkies expect films and series without end. You also have access to the free TV channels. The costs are around 20 euros per month.
- Sport & Live TV - the offer for sports fans. In addition to the well-known Sky sports formats, there are also free TV channels and the costs are around 25 euros per month.
- Kombi & Live TV - is a combination of both packages and you would be there for around 35 euros a month.
