SkyGo: full screen on a second monitor - is that possible?
In this practical tip, we explain how you can also view Sky Go in full screen mode on a second monitor. A little trick will help you watch Sky Go while you can do something else on the first screen.
Sky Go: Full screen on a second monitor - is that possible?
- The technology at Sky Go unfortunately does not allow you to put the stream of a football game on the second monitor and surf the Internet on your primary screen in parallel or use another program.
- In order to be able to watch Sky Go in full screen mode on your second monitor, you have to resort to a trick. We show you how this works in the following section.
Sky Go: Watch the stream in full screen mode on a second monitor
- After you have started the stream, you can enlarge the image by browser zoom. Then you can activate the full screen mode in Chrome using the F11 key, so that you generate a kind of "fake full screen".
- The problem with this, however, is that the quality is usually not as good as with a real Sky Go full screen. Alternatively, you can therefore use a virtual machine.
- To do this, set up a virtual machine accordingly and open it on your second monitor.
- If you open Sky Go and the corresponding stream in the VM, you can continue working on the actual system without the full screen being automatically deactivated.
In the next practical tip, we will explain whether you can also use Sky Go on Android.
