Practical Skype commands
Skype commands help you keep track of your chats. You can use the commands without the square brackets:
- / alertson [text]: Use this command to activate chat notifications only when a certain text is contained in a new message. With "/ alertson Berlin" you will only be notified if the word "Berlin" is mentioned in the chat.
- With / alertsoff you can deactivate the notifications again.
- With / find [text] you can search for a specific term or phrase in the chat.
- / me [text]: With this command you can make your current status appear next to your user name.
- / get options gives you the current options for the chat.
- / setrole [Skype name] MASTER also assigns the moderator role to other chat members.
