Skype: Use two accounts at the same time on the PC
This guide shows you how to use two Skype accounts on the PC at the same time. This works in five easy steps.
Use two Skype accounts on the PC at the same time
Using several Skype accounts at the same time on one PC is especially useful if you have one account for private and one for professional purposes. How to use Skype with two accounts in parallel on one computer:
- Start Skype as usual on your PC and log in with one of your two accounts.
- Then click on "Start" ("Windows Button")> "Run" or press the key combination [Windows] + [R].
- Depending on the operating system, enter the appropriate command including quotation marks: For a 32-bit system: "C: \ Program Files \ Skype \ Phone \ Skype.exe" / secondary and for a 64-bit system: "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Skype \ Phone \ Skype.exe "/ secondary.
- Confirm by clicking on "OK". You can now log in with a second Skype account and use both accounts in parallel.
- If an error message appears, make sure that the named file path is correct. To do this, check the installation directory of Skype and adjust the command manually if necessary.
