Slick Savings: How to remove the adware
If you find the adware "Slick Savings" in your browser, you should remove it directly from your computer. We'll show you how it's done.
Step 1: Remove Slick Savings from Windows
Slick Savings wants to use advertisements to tempt you to buy certain products. The adware is therefore quite annoying, but it does not pose any danger.
- Uninstalling Slick Savings: Open the list of installed programs in the Control Panel. Look for the "Slick Savings" entry and remove it. Checking recently installed programs, the names of which do not mean anything to you, does no harm.
- AdwCleaner: The free AdwCleaner does not require any installation. Start the tool, run the scan and delete all finds.
- Browser shortcut: Also check the shortcuts of your browsers. Adware also nests here and continues to do mischief even after installation.
- Malwarebytes Anti-Malware: A pest rarely comes alone. If the adware has made it onto your computer, there may also be worse malware on your PC. At least an examination cannot hurt.
