Link SmartArt to Excel spreadsheet
Unfortunately, it is not possible to link SmartArt with an existing MS Office Excel table, in the sense that the data is transferred to the graphic. However, you can use SmartArt to spice up your spreadsheet, for example for PowerPoint presentations.
Make the Excel spreadsheet visually clearer with SmartArt
For most, giant tables are a mess. With the SmartArt tool, you can design your tables nimbly and with little effort.
- To access the SmartArt graphics, first select the "Insert" tab.
- In the ribbon, go to the "Illustrations" section.
- Then click on "SmartArt".
- Now you have the choice of different display types to visually make your boring table of numbers a little clearer and to present the respective situation a little easier for laypersons.
- Tip: If you want, you can also change the respective graphics according to your needs.
