- Connect smartphone: In the program, click on "File" -> "Connect". In the following window select "Mobile phone with Google Android operating system". The next step is to determine the type of connection. You can connect your smartphone to the PC via cable, WiFi or Bluetooth. If you choose the wireless version, both devices must be in the same network. The cable variant has a few requirements. MyPhoneExplorer guides you through this process.
- Synchronization: After a successful connection you will be asked to synchronize the data with the PC. The phone books / call lists, the organizer, the notes and the SMS folder are transferred to your PC. The data is also available when your smartphone is no longer connected to the PC.
- Edit data: The categories are displayed in the left menu bar. There you will get to the respective entries. So you can edit your contacts on the PC and then transfer them to the smartphone. The data is synchronized with your smartphone with the blue double arrow in the upper toolbar.
- Settings: Under "File" -> "Settings" you can use further options. In the "Synchronization" area you can, for example, transfer data records from other programs such as Outlook or Windows contacts. Under "Multi-Sync" you determine which data is synchronized.
