Go to the 3 points and tap "Settings".
Now tap on "Display Settings".
If not already done, select "All contacts".
Before you do anything, you should make sure that all contacts in the address book are displayed. So it may be that only your Google contacts are displayed and the contacts stored on the phone do not appear. You can read how to check the filters in our instructions - or take a look in our picture gallery.
- First open your contacts app.
- Go to the 3 points and then to "Settings".
- Tap on Display Settings and, if you have not already done so, select "All Contacts".
Restore contacts through Google

Click the gear and then click Undo Changes.
You can restore a contact up to 30 days after deleting it.
If this doesn't work, you should try to restore your contacts through the Google Kontact web app. Since contacts on the smartphone are synchronized with the linked Google account by default, the lost contact could be saved. If you have deactivated synchronization, however, this is not possible. Proceed as described in our quick guide or follow our picture gallery step by step.
- If synchronization is activated, log into the Google Contacts web app on a PC.
- Now click on the gear on the top right and choose "Undo changes".
- Now you can set the time from which Google should restore the contacts.
- You have the specific presets of, for example, 10 minutes or a week.
- With "Custom" you can restore the deleted contacts from the last 30 days.
- All contacts will be restored in the process - you can unfortunately not only select and retrieve specific contacts.
Next, we'll show you how to transfer contacts to a new phone.
