On iPhone, you can set smiley shortcuts on iOS 10. IPhone then suggests the linked emoji for a specific string or word. We'll show you how it works.
Set emoji shortcut on iPhone
- Open the settings.
- Touch General.
- Select "Keyboard" and then "Text Replacement"
- Tap the plus to add a new text replacement.
- Under "Text" choose the smiley you want.
- Enter any string as a shortcut.
- Tap "Save". If you now type the selected string in any app, the iPhone suggests the smiley as a replacement.
