Snapchat allows you to exchange pictures that will delete themselves after a few seconds. However, if the address book is empty, you cannot send pictures. In this practical tip, we will tell you what this can be and how to fix this error.
Address book empty in Snapchat - so you solve the problem
In order to use Snapchat, you need "friends" in the app. You can manage these in your address book.
- When you start Snapchat for the first time, you must allow the app to access the address book from the phone.
- However, if you have denied this access, no phone numbers will be displayed in the address book.
- In the "Settings" of the app you have the option of subsequently allowing access to the address book.
- If no numbers are displayed, you should check whether you have correctly saved your friends' numbers and whether they actually linked your number to Snapchat.
