Hourglass on Snapchat - what does that mean?

• The hourglass only appears in connection with the flame symbol. The flame represents the "snapstreaks" that you collect passively. The number next to the flame represents the number of snap streaks.
• Snapstreaks are a series of snaps. If you send a snap with the respective contact every 24 hours, you will receive one snapstreak per day. If no snap is ever sent within the 24 hours, the counter starts again at 0.
• This is where the hourglass comes in. The hourglass warns you a few hours beforehand so that your Snaptreaks are not reset. A clever trick from Snapchat to keep you going. Unfortunately, the hourglass does not reveal when the time is running out. However, you can see the time from the last snap in the overview.
