If you want to print directly with the snipping tool, you will quickly encounter problems. Because this function is not actually intended. But there is a detour, how you can still print out screenshots taken with the snipping tool.

It is not possible to print image sections directly from the snipping tool. We'll show you which detours you can still use to print screenshots.
- Open the snipping tool on your computer.
- Select the "New" option (see image 1) and take a screenshot.
- To print the screenshot now, copy the image section with the key combination [CTRL] + [C].
- Now open the pre-installed tool "Paint" by pressing the Windows button on the Tatstaur and then entering "paint".
- Then press [CTRL] + [V] to paste the copied image.
- At the top left above "File", you can now select the "Print" option.
Snipping tool: alternative to printing
If you want to print a screenshot directly without much effort, the "Snipping Tool Plus" program offers a convenient alternative.
- Download the "Snipping Tool Plus" tool and extract the software.
- Open the program, then you can choose between "full screen", "rectangle" or "freehand" (see image 2).
- Now take a screenshot using one of the available options.
- Now the created image section is displayed and you can click on "Print" directly in the menu above.
