Socks in sandals are just as erotic as socks in bed. But if you leave that out, there are good reasons to slip into bed with socks.
Better sex - try socks in bed
Socks in bed - somehow not a really attractive idea. Nevertheless, you should be a little more open to the idea, because there are actually good reasons for the bed socks:
- There are now scientific studies on almost all topics and so the bed socks have not been left out. This may seem a bit bizarre at first, but in fact the researchers came to quite interesting results.
- Wearing socks in bed can bring significant health benefits, and not only that. Scientists have not neglected the erotic aspect either.
- And indeed: A study conducted by Dutch scientists in 2005 showed that the sock wearers had significantly better sex. According to this, around 80 percent of sock wearers had an orgasm, while only 50 percent of those without socks had it. The researchers suspect that better blood circulation is one reason for this.
- Tip: If you have a cold, it is good practice to put onions on the sole of the foot before putting on the socks. Although this is not erotic, it will help you to regain your strength.
Fall asleep better - warm feet help
Strictly forbidden by the fashion police - warmly recommended by scientists: opinions differ on the socks in bed.
- An American study and a Swiss study independently concluded that wearing socks helps you sleep better. The subjects fell asleep with socks around 15 minutes earlier than without.
- The body temperature is noticeably better regulated by wearing the socks. The blood vessels immediately under the skin are dilated. This releases more heat and lowers the temperature of the entire body. This process in turn signals our brain that it is bedtime.
- Basically, of course, it's about keeping your feet warm, which is why socks are very practical. But of course you can also switch to other aids. An additional blanket at the foot of the bed or a hot water bottle for the feet also serve well.
- If you choose bed socks, you should use socks made from natural raw materials such as cotton. You will also find socks that are real eye-catchers - even in bed.
