You can reset your Sonos One to the factory settings at any time and thus delete all stored data. We'll tell you how to do it.
Reset Sonos One to factory settings
Once set up, your Sonos One stores a wealth of information, such as music streaming service data, Sonos playlists, and your library shares. With a reset to the factory settings, you will delete this data irretrievably. This is useful if you want to sell the Sonos One.
- Unplug the Sonos One by unplugging the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Now hold down the connection button on the Sonos One and plug in the power cord again.
- Press and hold the connection button until the Sonos One light flashes in orange and white.
- As soon as the factory settings have been restored, the display flashes green. You can now release the connection button and set up the Sonos One again.
