Sonos power consumption: That's how high the power consumption is
If you want to buy a Sonos speaker, the power consumption is not insignificant. We show you how much electricity the different models use.
Sonos: how much power do the speakers use?
- Sonos only reports sleep power consumption for its speakers. Sleep mode is typically activated after three minutes when music is no longer playing. If the Sonos speaker is connected to the router via a LAN cable, the consumption values increase by around 0.3 watts.
- The power consumption in operation is slightly higher than in standby. Since the music is completely important here, there are no uniform values for this. In operation, you can expect an additional consumption of around 30 to 60 percent. However, most of the year the speakers are in standby.
