Reset Sonos: Reset Playbar, Play 5 and Co. - how it works
Before you reset your Sonos Home Sound System, you should be aware that all data will then be permanently deleted. In the following, we will tell you how to reset your Sonos.
Reset Sonos Play 1 and Play 3 as well as Connect, Connect AMP and the Playbar
If you want to reset the first generation Play 1 and Play 3 wireless speakers as well as Connect, Connect AMP and the Playbar, proceed as follows:
- First, remove the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Then press and hold the play / pause button and plug the power cord back into the socket.
- The light blinks orange and white while you press the Play / Pause button on the Sonos Home Sound System.
- As soon as the Sonos speaker is reset, the light indicator flashes green.
Reset Sonos PLAY 5, Boost, Bridge, SUB and Playbase to factory settings
To reset the Sonos Play 5 speaker, Boost, Bridge, SUB and Playbase, do the following:
- Unplug the Sonos Home Sound System from the wall outlet.
- Press and hold the connection button on the Sonos speaker and plug the cable back into the socket.
- The light flashes orange and white while you press the connect button.
- As soon as the indicator lights up green, you have the factory settings on the Sonos HIFI device.
