How to render MP4 files with Sony Vegas
First you should start Sony Vegas and open the video file you want. Then you can start the rendering process:
- Click on "File" and select the entry "Render As".
- Then select "Main Concept AVC / AAC (.mp4)".
- Click on "Internet HD 720p (.mp4)". How to later render in HD resolution, but at the same time ensure that your file does not become too large.
- In a further step, select "Customize template".

Then adjust your settings by determining the following:
- Make sure the frame size is 1280 pixels wide and 720 pixels high.
- Set the frame rate to 30 in the "Main" profile.

- Now switch to the "Audio" tab at the bottom and set the sample rate to 48, 000 Hertz. Select 192, 000 kilobytes per second as the bit rate.
- Then click on "Project" at the bottom and enter "Optimal" for the video rendering quality. Under "Stereoscopic 3D mode" select the selection "(Use project settings)" if you do not want to render 3D video.
- Confirm your entries with "Ok" and then click on "Render".
