Install the right software
So that beautiful sounds come out of your speakers and your voice sounds good when recording, one thing is essential - the right driver for your sound card.
- Read the practical tip on whether and which sound card you have.

Set sound card: This way the sound sounds better
First the speakers: Under Windows you can make the following settings:
- Right click on the speakers in the bottom right of the systray. Select "Playback Devices" in the context menu.
- Right-click on your standard speakers. Click on "Properties" in the context menu.
- In the "Level" tab you will find the "Balance" buttons. Left and right should always have the same values. In the "Improvements" tab you will find various effects. Deselect all. The entry "None" should also be selected under "Settings".
Set the microphone
Now set the microphone.
- Click on "Recording" in the tab. There you will find your standard microphone. Select this with a right click and click on "Properties".
- In the "Level" tab, set the "microphone gain" to zero so that the recordings are not distorted. The "microphone" should be set to "80" to "100".
- Now select the "Improvements" tab. Activate "Noise Reduction" and "Reverberation Rejection" there. Confirm the settings with "OK".
