Spam filter with Freenet: How to prevent spam mails
Basically, a spam filter is preset at Freenet. However, you have the option to modify the filter and set it up according to your own ideas.
Set up spam filters at Freenet
To set up the spam filter, first log in to your Freenet account.
- After you have entered the email area, click on "Settings" in the menu bar.
- In the settings, select the "Spam protection" option on the left.
- Then either choose one of the three already configured spam filters or set up your spam filter individually.
- In the menu bar, you also have the option of blocking special e-mail addresses or explicitly defining e-mail addresses as non-spam.
If you have deleted an important message, it may be possible to restore the mail in Freenet.
