Spare ribs are particularly popular when barbecuing and should not be missing from meat lovers. The high protein content and the fact that spare ribs have hardly any carbohydrates speak for them. We show you how many calories and nutritional values are in the ribs.
Calories in spare ribs
Based on a quantity of 100 grams, spare ribs without marinade contain around 277 calories and a fat content of around 24 grams.
- The spare ribs are made of protein or protein at around 16 grams. In contrast, they contain almost no carbohydrates.
- With a quantity of around 80 milligrams, cholesterol and sodium are also contained in the meat. There are also around 242 milligrams of potassium.
- Spare ribs also contain vitamins. There are about 15 milligrams of calcium and 16 grams of magnesium for every 100 grams of meat. In addition, there is almost a milligram of iron and 0.6 milligrams of vitamin B6.
- Also included is 0.4 micrograms of vitamin B12. Vitamin D is given as around 91 international units (IU).
