Sparkasse: Overview of transfer limits and daily limits
The size of the transfer limit or daily limit at the Sparkasse depends on the branch in your area. We give you an overview of the daily limits here and show you how you can change this.
The amount of the transfer limit depends on the respective savings bank
How high your daily limit for transfers or cash withdrawals at the Sparkasse depends on the respective institution. We have taken the Berliner Sparkasse as an example.
- The standard payment limit at Berliner Sparkasse is set at 1, 000 euros per day. In exceptional cases - for example cash payment when buying a vehicle - this limit can be exceeded.
- If you as a Sparkasse customer want to pay with your Girocard, the daily limit for this is EUR 2, 000 per day if the PIN is required for authorization. If authorized by signature, the limit set by the dealer applies.
- For transfers, a daily limit of 3, 000 euros is initially set by default. You can adapt this to your needs at any time in your branch.
How to change the transfer limit
You can also adjust the transfer limit individually to your needs.
- In your Sparkasse branch, you can have your adviser or counter staff raise or lower the daily limit.
- You can also adjust your daily limit online.
