This practical tip shows you how to set up and configure the Speedport W 700V.
Connect the Speedport W 700V correctly
The Speedport W 700V is mostly used for classic analogue or ISDN connections.
- First connect the F socket of your telephone socket to the "Amt" input of the splitter and connect the DSL output of the splitter to the Speedport. Then connect the F socket of the splitter either directly to the Speedport or via an ISDN NTBA to it.
Set up the Speedport W 700V
Now connect the Speedport with a LAN cable to your PC and then to the power.
- Then call up the address //192.168.2.1/ with a browser of your choice.
- Now click on "Start configuration" and enter the device password. The delivery status is 0000. The Speedport now guides you step by step through the setup.
