Save and save as: that's the difference
In this practical tip, we will explain what the difference between "Save" and "Save As" is.
Difference between "save" and "save as"
- If you use the "Save" function in programs, your document will be saved in the previous file path.
- However, if the file has never been saved, the "Save As" window opens automatically.
- You can use the "Save As" function to specify the file location of your new file.
- To do this, navigate to the correct path in the dialog window and click on the storage location.
- Finally save the file in the "Save As" dialog via "Save".
