Block players in League of Legends - does that work?
League of Legends not only lets you report players for improper behavior, you can also block them. In this practical tip you will learn how to block intrusive teammates using the LoL client.
League of Legends: block players - how it works
You can save individual players in your personal "block list". A blocked player can then neither contact you nor send invitations to your account. Follow the instructions below to block a player.
- First run the "League of Legends" application on your computer and log in to the LoL client with your access data.
- Once you have done this, you will be redirected to your personal homepage. Here click on the button at the bottom right with the note "Show friend list".
- Select the "Blocking list" in the menu with a right click.
- You will now see an input field under the "Block player" message in which you can enter the name of the player to be blocked.
- In the last step, click on the "+" symbol next to it and confirm your selection in the user information with "Yes", so that the player is now displayed in the block list.
Information about blocked players in LoL
- As soon as you block a contact from your friend list, they will be removed from the same list and listed in the "Block list".
- If you want, you can remove blocked players from your block list using the "Stop blocking players" option. They can then communicate with you again and send invitations to you.
