Spotify for students: that's the cost

Many students use Spotify as a point of contact for streaming music. If the advertising that is imported with the free account disrupts, you can fall back on one of the different subscription models. You can find out in this article whether a student tariff is also provided.

Spotify - no discount for students

There is no student discount on Spotify.

• If you choose a premium account with Spotify as a student, you pay EUR 9.99 a month.
• A discount is only for students. As a student you get a 50 percent discount and only pay 4.99 euros a month. However, this discount is only valid for one year. After that, students also pay the full premium price.
• To receive the student discount, you must register with Unidays as proof.
• The family package may be interesting for students. The family account costs 14.99 euros per month. In addition to the subscriber, five family members can use premium access without having to pay anything extra.
• As a student, you should also consider Spotify's age restriction. The GTCs stipulate a minimum age for streaming.
