Spotify displays error 802 - how to fix it
Error 802 indicates a problem with the connection to the currently selected song and most often occurs when trying to play a track from a playlist.
- Remove the affected songs from the playlist and add them again manually.
- Error 802 also occurs when songs have been deleted from the Spotify servers but they are still in your playlist. Remove the track and try playing it from another album.
- Log out of the Spotify client and log in again.
- Clear the Spotify cache by deleting the contents of the corresponding folder. The path to the folder can be found in the Spotify settings under "Cache".
