Spotify: Upload and change profile picture

If you have registered with Spotify with an email address and not with your Facebook account, only a gray avatar appears as the profile picture. You cannot replace this with your own picture. The Spotify community has been pressing for almost two years to expand this profile settings. However, Spotify only consoles the user and regularly issues the message that users could soon upload their own profile pictures.

• You can only change your profile picture at Spotify if you are logged in with your Facebook account.
• If you want to exchange your profile picture in Spotify, you have to change your profile picture in Facebook. There is currently no other way, as the Spotify account is linked to your Facebook profile.

You won't find many options in Spotify's profile settings. After all, you can easily turn off Spotify's email notifications.
