On the music streaming service Spotify you can not only view the queue with the next tracks, but also delete one or more songs at any time. Here we show you step by step how this works.
Clear the Spotify queue on the PC
On the computer, you can open the Spotify queue at any time, regardless of whether you have subscribed to the free version or Spotify Premium.
- To open the queue, all you have to do is select the icon at the bottom right of the "Available Devices" icon. The selection area shows three stripes and a triangle.
- Now you will see the queue with the next titles. Now there are three ways to delete the titles.
- On the one hand, you can right-click on the unwanted song and select the line "Remove from waiting list" in the menu bar.
- If there are several titles that you want to remove, hold down the Ctrl key and select the titles to be deleted with a left click. You can then right-click to open the menu again and select the correct option.
- Alternatively, select the three superimposed points at the end of the line of the corresponding title, which will only be visible when the mouse is on the song line. The menu reappears and here too you must click "Remove from waiting list" to delete the title.
- The last option is to delete the titles from the waiting list after selecting them with the Del key.

If you want to work on your queue on your smartphone or tablet, you need the paid update to Spotify Premium. Otherwise this option is not available.
- The queue can be accessed by selecting the current title at the bottom of the screen and selecting the aforementioned queue icon. Sometimes three dots are displayed instead.
- The first option shows you the queue directly. In the second case, simply select the item "Go to queue" again, not to be confused with "Go to queue", because this option simply adds the song that has just been played back to the queue.
- To delete, tap the circles next to the tracks you don't want in your playlist. If you then click Remove, the songs will disappear from the queue.
- Instead of deleting the songs, you can alternatively move them to a desired location by holding the symbol on the right side of the title.
