How to hide annoying Spotify posts on Facebook: To be able to stream music with Spotify, you need to log in there with your Facebook user account. Then Spotify automatically posts a selection of songs that you are currently playing. To prevent this, a small change in the Spotify settings is enough.
Step 1: access Spotify settings
- Open Spotify - only here you can deactivate automatic posting.
- In the main menu, you must now select the "Settings" button under "Edit". Alternatively, you can access the settings by pressing "Ctrl + P".
Step 2: adjust settings
In the first paragraph entitled "Share Activities" you can also regulate Spotify's Facebook activities under "Privacy".
- To do this, remove the check mark in the last box ("Share my activity and music that I listen to on Facebook"). Spotify automatically saves your change.
Facebook also gives you the option of making Spotify posts accessible only to certain users. You can set this under "Applications" in your privacy settings. We have put together more tips and tricks for Spotify here.
