Spotify temporarily stores your most recently heard songs in a list. This way you can listen to and save good songs again. We'll reveal how to view history in Spotify on Windows, iOS and Android, and on the web.
Spotify: View the history of the most recently heard songs on the PC and in the browser
You can find the history in the desktop client and in the Spotify web player. There you have access to your last 50 songs.
- To do this, start Spotify and click on the icon with the three horizontal bars at the bottom right of the play bar.
- You are now in the queue. Switch to the "History" tab at the top left.
- Here you will find all the songs you have heard recently. You can either play the songs again, save them or add them to a playlist.
Android and iOS: View Spotify history
Unfortunately, you cannot view the history in the Spotify apps for Android and iOS. However, there is a workaround for this. Last.fm's service can save your entire Spotify history, even more than 50 tracks.
- Open the Last.fm website and click on the "Join" button at the top right.
- Create a free account here.
- Click on your profile picture at the top right and select the "Settings".
- Go to the "Apps" section above and click the "Connect" button next to "Spotify Scrobbling".
- If necessary, log in to Spotify and confirm the access with "I agree".
- Last.fm now records your complete history. Unfortunately, this is not possible retrospectively, so your history will only be saved from now on.
