- Under "Privacy and Security" then tap the "Location Access" option.
- Activate the service by tapping on "Access my location" above.
- You also have the option of selecting the respective mode under "Location mode".
- Select "Use GPS, WiFi and mobile networks" here to get high precision. To save the battery, select the "WLAN and mobile networks" mode. With "Use GPS only" only the GPS from your mobile phone is used. This method is the least accurate.
- It shows you which apps last requested the location. Tap the name of the app for more information.
- In the app overview, you can then prohibit the location determination under "App permissions".
- Navigate here also to the "Settings" on your smartphone and tap on "Privacy".
- Then tap Location Services. To enable location detection, tap the slider under "Location Services" at the top.
- you have the option to allow or disallow the location of the individual apps.
- To do this, scroll down a bit and tap the slider of the respective app to determine the location.
