Star Wars - The Old Republic (SWTOR) has been thrilling the gamer community since 2011. Since the game is older, the system requirements are no longer too high. In this practical tip, we tell you what your PC has to do for the Star Wars hit.
SWTOR: The minimum system requirements
In order to start Star Wars - The Old Republic at all and play at the lowest resolution without stuttering, you need the following hardware:
- Processor: An AMD Athlon 64 × 2 (Dual-Core 4000+) or Intel Core 2 Duo with 2.0 GHZ or better is required as CPU.
- Graphics card: An ATI X1800 or an nVidia 7800 are required for SWTOR. However, if you have an Intel 4100 or better, you can also play the game with the CPU-internal graphics card. It is only important that it has at least 256 MB of on-board RAM and supports Shader 3.0.
- Main memory: Under Windows XP your PC should have 1.5 GB, under Windows Vista and Windows 7 2 GB.
Star Wars - The Old Republic: How to gamble in HD
The minimal system requirements of SWTOR are limited. However, if you want to play the game in Full HD resolution and with the maximum details, you need significantly better hardware:
- Processor: At least one AMD Phenom II X2 550 or Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 is required for the maximum graphics details.
- Graphics card: All graphics cards, but the Geforce GTX 560 and the Radeon HD 6850 can stem from SWTOR at the highest graphics level.
- RAM: We recommend at least 2.5 GB of RAM.
