Star Wars: The Old Republic - Classes at a Glance
In Star Wars: The Old Republic, you can not only play Jedi, but also fight with many other classes. We will introduce you to all available classes in more detail.
Star Wars: The Old Republic - the classes of the republic
As a member of the Republic, you can play four powerful classes, including the iconic Jedi Knights. Each class in Star Wars: The Old Republic can also choose one of two specializations.
- Jedi Knights are powerful melee characters thanks to their lightsabers. They are agile and persistent, especially due to their sometimes heavy armor. In this class, you can specialize either as a Guardian or a Guardian. Guardians use the Force to become almost inviolable; Guardians, on the other hand, swing two lightsabers and concentrate on an aggressive approach.
- Jedi ambassadors, on the other hand, do not wear armor as heavy as knights, but channel the power in particularly devastating attacks or powerful healing abilities. As a scholar in particular, you will expand these skills even further. As a shadow, you specialize in camouflage and heavy attacks with the double lightsaber.
- As a soldier, you wear heavy armor and even heavier guns. As a front fighter, you specialize in enduring even more and being able to eliminate opponents more easily. Commands, on the other hand, use particularly powerful storm cannons and support allies with their healing skills.
- Smugglers are crafty and make up for their poor armor. As a gunslinger, you specialize in devastating hits with two blasters at a time, while the villain shines through a camouflage belt and medipack.
Star Wars: The Old Republic - the classes of the empire
Like the Republic, the Empire also has four basic classes, each with two powerful specializations.
- Sith warriors are the dark counterpart of the Jedi Knights. They are heavily armored and aggressively seek to destroy their enemies. Juggernauts become almost indestructible and try to cause a lot of damage. Marauders, on the other hand, whirl through their enemies with two blades, but neglect their defense.
- The Sith Inquisitor acts skilfully, avoids damage to himself and distributes all the more. As an assassin, strike your double blade before disappearing into the shadows. If you play a sorcerer, focus on the dark side of the Force with powerful lightning and other damage spells.
- Bounty hunters are people for the rough. They unscrupulously kill everyone who stands in the way of the empire. As a bounty hunter, specialize in your Powertech armor, withstand tons of damage and heat up your opponents with a flamethrower. As a mercenary, your defense is more of a powerful arsenal. The rocket launcher in particular will put your enemies to flight.
- Imperial agents strike where the Republic least expects it. As a sniper you keep as much distance as possible and still accomplish your targets efficiently and accurately. Saboteurs, on the other hand, act unseen or use their skills to heal other imperial warriors.
You can play any of these classes for free in Star Wars: The Old Republic. In addition, many other games are waiting for you in our Free2Play portal.
