Star Wars trailer reveal: Star Wars 7 is so awesome
The new trailer for "Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens" looks deeply: What happens to Luke Skywalker and which mysterious hand caresses R2-D2? In our film preview we show 5 things that the Star Wars trailer speaks about the new film.
Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens - It's All About Rey
- "I am nobody" - with these words from Rey the final trailer for the seventh Star Wars film begins. But that is unduly understated, because the film will not revolve around anyone other than Rey (Daisy Ridley).
- On one of her forays, she finds a crashed spaceship and discovers the fleeing soldier Finn (John Boyega). He later joins Rey and together they have to defend their planet against imperial troops.
- They get support from Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca - that promises to be great.
Hidden Clues: Where's Luke Skywalker in the new Star Wars movie?
Shock: Luke Skywalker does not appear in any of the trailers!
- Since the events in "The Return of the Jedi", Luke (Mark Hamill) has had no trace. That was 30 years ago and went down in history. Now he has to clarify the secret behind the lightsaber. But is he still alive?
- There are numerous references to the hero Skywalker: In the trailer, for example, strokes a veiled figure with an artificial hand R2-D2. Is that Luke? If so, where was he all the time: trapped in the desert or even on the dark side of the Force?
- Small spoiler: Finn will swing a lightsaber in the movie ...
Stormtrooper Army attack
- In the seventh part, the Stormtroopers are also there. The empire is again in danger. Only this time they are well organized and make a fanatical impression.
- Finn is still one of the storm troopers at the beginning and due to the skin color of the actor, this already caused a lot of racist comments on the net. The 23-year-old told "V Magazine": "I'm in the film, what do you want to change about it? Blacks and women can be seen more and more in the cinema. It just doesn't make sense to cast everything with whites."
Does Han Solo die heroic death in "The Force Awakens"?
Years ago, Harrison Ford is said to have asked Star Wars director George Lucas to cancel his role as Han Solo: Han Solo should die. But Lucas thought the role was so good that he didn't let the actor go. Producer JJ Abrams is said to have fulfilled the wish in the new film.
- The trailers confirm the rumors in two scenes. Rey crouches on the floor and cries - in front of her is a dead person. But whether this is really Han Solo remains to be seen.
- Rumor has it that Kylo Renn is said to have killed him in battle: Han Solo is said to have stood in the way of Kylo to enable Finn, Rey, Chewbacca and the robot BB to escape.
X-wing pilot Poe Dameron: is he leading the fight against evil?
- Actor Oscar Isaacs plays pilot Poe Dameron, as the third trailer shows. He's even handed over to villain Kylo Renn. So his role seems pretty important.
- Many fans speculate that he could lead the fight against Kylo.
