Stardew Valley Multiplayer: All information and release
The indie hit Stardew Valley is not only a lot of fun in single player. This overview reveals what you can expect in multiplayer and when a release can be expected.
Stardew Valley: Release and information about the upcoming multiplayer
Since only the solo developer ConcernedApe stands behind Stardew Valley, he initially focused on bug fixes after the release of the indie hit. But in an interview, the developer has now revealed the first information about a multiplayer.
- The multiplayer mode in Stardew Valley should be limited to a maximum of four people. However, teamwork is more important here than ever: All players manage the same farm and the same fields.
- According to the developer, the goal should be a clever division of labor: while one player takes care of the harvest, others look for minerals in the cave.
- Here, however, there is another difficulty: two or even three of the monsters in the cave are of course easily defeated. Therefore, ConcernedApe wants to adjust the level of difficulty in multiplayer accordingly.
- But of course that means a lot of work. Therefore, the developer did not give an exact release date. Depending on how complex the adjustments really become, the release date can take a little longer. Nevertheless, an end is already in sight: the multiplayer beta can already be tested.
