Stardew Valley: Earn money quickly - the best tips
Making money quickly in Stardew Valley is not that easy. With our tips for the building game, it still works.
Money in Stardew Valley: minimize costs and collect resources
You can minimize your own costs in Stardew Valley primarily by not buying everything, but also using the crafting.
- Items can not only be bought, but also made yourself.
- To make items, you need resources and materials.
- Build the bridge on the beach as early as possible. This costs 300 gold.
- On the other side of the bridge you will find the beach where you can find shells, sea urchins and corals. You can then sell them for quite a bit of money.
- Collecting resources is one of the main occupations in Stardew Valley. You then have to assess yourself whether you want to use or sell the resources for crafting.
- In addition to collecting resources, fishing is also a profitable activity. You can not only sell fish, but also use it for your own nutrition.
Saving money: animals and plants in Stardew Valley
At the start of the game you only have 500 gold. You can read about how to invest gold sensibly below:
- First buy seeds for the bed. You can usually resell plants early and have no running costs.
- Potato or cauliflower seeds are ideal at first. These grow quickly and you can therefore sell them profitably early.
- However, fields have to be watered daily. For faster maintenance, you should buy a sprinkler system.
- You can increase the quality of the harvest with fertilizer. But only invest in fertilizer at the beginning of the month, as the plants wither at the end of the month.
- Of course, you don't have to irrigate your fields on rainy days. You should go fishing or gather resources on these days.
- Do not buy animals until later in the game. Farm animals need one hay bale each day, which is quite expensive, especially at the beginning.
