Change homepage in Chrome
To change the start page in Google Chrome, only a few simple steps are necessary. We show you how it works.
Change homepage in Google Chrome
You can change the Chrome homepage in Settings. The corresponding button is located at the top right of the window. In new Chrome versions, it no longer looks like a gear, but is shown in the form of three lines (see screenshot). Click on it and select "Settings".
To set the start page, click on "Change" (point 1 of the figure). If you don't see the house for the homepage in the Chrome menu bar, check the box next to "Show 'Home' button" to show it.
Click on "Set pages" (point 2 of the figure). Here you type in one or more URLs that should open when Google Chrome starts - for example "chip.de", "google.de" and / or "facebook.com". Alternatively, click on "Use current pages". How to add all the tabs and pages that are currently open as start pages.
The practical tip relates to Google Chrome for Mac. Apart from small details, the procedure is similar in all Chrome versions - even under Windows and Linux.
