Account hacked: How to get your Steam account back
Follow the steps below to get your Steam account back:
- Go to the Steam Support page.
- Log in with your support account or create a new one.
- Then select "Steam" on this page and then "Contact Steam Support".
- Enter "Product", "Steam" and select the category "Account problems" and "Stolen account".
- Enter a meaningful subject. Then start by entering as much information as possible in the text box to confirm that you are the owner. This includes, for example, purchase information, PayPal email, credit card number and of course first and last name.
- Steam also needs the Steam account name and the associated email address.
- In the right field "CD Key" you can also enter any key of your purchased games. How to prove that the account and all of its games are yours.
Take further measures
After contacting Steam Support, do the following: You have contacted Steam Support and are now waiting for a response. Here are a few tips on how to avoid future account hacks.

- A Steam representative never asks for your information - so never give out your password.
