Steam: Determine account value - how it works
There is usually a lot of money in your Steam account - we will show you how to determine the value of your purchased games in this practical tip. But be careful: sometimes this result can be quite a shock.
Steam account: calculate the value with the Steamcalculator
With the SteamDB website, you can have chic statistics displayed for your Steam profile - including your total playing time and the value of your games. That's how it's done:
- Open Steam. In the top right corner you will find the name of your Steam account.
- Now enter your user name on the SteamDB website. Then you have to select the currency (Euro Tier 1 for Germany). With a click on "Get disappointed in your life" your personal statistics will be displayed.
- If you don't get any results, it could be due to a private Steam profile. SteamDB will then be unable to access your information. To change this, click on your username in Steam> "Profile"> "Edit Profile". On the right you will find the "Privacy Settings" and under "Profile Status" select the item "Public".
- The statistics for your profile should now also be output. There you will find information about your most played titles, how many hours you have already spent with Steam games and the value of your profile and the individual games.
